Only 25 kilometers away from Casale and you will get to Lucca, another small yet wonderful medieval city, with its monuments, the characteristic Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, and its typical and elegant cafes that will take you to a dream atmosphere.
Don’t forget to go for a walk on the ancient walls that surround the city. These old military walls now are a pedestrian promenade. Lucca in recent years has become famous on an international level for two yearly events: the Lucca Summer Festival in July and the Lucca Comics in October.
Lucca Summer Festival
a yearly returning festival with concerts of international artists like Beck, Liam Gallagher, Celine Dion, Paul Mc Cartney, John Legend, Ben Harper, and many more. The Summer Festival takes place in June and July.

The international festival of Lucca Comics has been organized since 1996 and is being held on the last weekend of October in the beautiful city of Lucca.
