Only **25 kilometres** away from the Casale you will get to Lucca, another small yet wonderful medieval city, with its monuments, the characteristic Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, and its typical and elegant cafés that will take you to a dream atmosphere.

Don't forget to go for a walk on the ancient walls that surround the city. These old military walls are now a pedestrian promenade. Lucca in recent years has become famous on an international level for two yearly events: the Lucca Summer Festival and Lucca Comics & Games in October.

**Lucca Summer Festival**

A yearly festival with concerts of international artists like Beck, Liam Gallagher, Celine Dion, Paul McCartney, John Legend, Ben Harper, and many more. The Summer Festival takes place in June and July.

**Lucca Comics & Games**

The international festival of Lucca Comics has been organized since 1996 and is held on the last weekend of October in the beautiful city of Lucca.
